Privacy notice

Compass is an owner-only personal workspace operated by Dylan. This public information website is separate from the private application and does not publish the owner's personal records.

Information used by the workspace

Authorized connections allow Compass to retrieve information needed for its private views and task tools. Current features use Outlook mail for read-only message views and Todoist task and project information for task tools, including owner-requested task changes. Optional Outlook contacts access requires additional consent. Connection credentials are saved to support continued authorized access. Workspace settings are saved when the owner changes them.

Planned Google access and purpose

Google connectivity is in preparation and is not currently available. Once enabled and authorized, Compass is intended to use Google information only to provide the requested private views:

• Gmail: message information, previews and message contents for listing and reading email (gmail.readonly).
• Google Calendar: calendar lists and event information for selected calendars and date ranges (calendar.calendarlist.readonly and calendar.events.readonly).
• Optional Google Contacts: saved contact details for a contacts view, only after opt-in (contacts.readonly). This does not include Other Contacts or directory access.

These permissions do not allow Compass to send email or modify messages, events, or contacts. The prepared Google readers do not create a persistent application database copy of mailbox, calendar, or contact records.

Processing and hosting

Connected-provider requests are processed by Compass server code using Sites and Cloudflare hosting. Provider information passes through that hosting infrastructure to the authenticated private interface. It is not made public on these information pages. Connection credentials are encrypted in the application's database.

This notice describes Compass's application behavior. Hosting-provider logs, backups, and independent provider data practices are not covered by a promise of immediate or automatic deletion.

Retention and removal requests

Saved connection records support continued access. Compass does not currently define a fixed automatic retention period for those records or offer self-service account deletion. For questions or requests concerning removal of saved connection records or other application data, contact the operator below. Removing application records does not itself delete records held by the connected provider.
